    The article considers the dominant tendencies of contemporary Russian education transformations at global, regional and local levels owing to the “changes” in socio-cultural dynamics characterizing on the one hand the development of informational technologies, on the other – the spreading of “consumption and post-consumption society” ideology. The tendency of grading national educational models specific character and educational technologies leveling to the standardized patterns of foreign science schools radically change the landscape of contemporary education in our country. It is necessary to complement this process with the axiological content alternative to these purely technological “standards”. Some religious and secular models of this complementation intended to compensate the lack of goal-setting and motivation, peculiar to “neutral”, pragmatically-oriented educational technologies, are considered on the basis of their pros and cons.
